Ingredients:

  • 1-liter cold water
  • 1-soda charger

Directions:

Before starting the process, make sure that there is no sparkling water in the bottle. Do not add more gas to water that has already been carbonated before.

Filling the bottle with water:

  1. Screw off the top portion and open the bottle.
  2. Remove the tube from the center of the bottle.
  3. Pour cold water into the bottle. Keep pouring until the water starts to come out of the bottle.
  4. Add the tube back to the bottle.
  5. Screw the top and close it tightly.

Adding the gas:

  1. Remove the cover on the head of the siphon by unscrewing it.
  2. Place the soda charger into the holder with its tip facing outwards.
  3. Screw the lid. Doing so will result in piercing the tip, and you will hear the sound of releasing the gas.
  4. Shake the bottle for at least 6-times until the gas dissolves in water.
  5. Remove the soda charger. You will hear the sound again.
  6. Screw the cap again.

Serving the soda water:

  1. Place a glass under the spout.
  2. Press the spout of the bottle, and pour the water into the glass.

Note:

  • Do not use warm water since warm water will not achieve the same level of carbonation.
  • Use one soda charge for one fill.
  • Do not over carbonate.
