Also, make sure that the work station is fully stocked with all the ingredients and placed nearby the chef so during busy hours they do not have to go looking a specific item.

Remember that you serve food in such a manner that all of the dishes are served pretty much at the same time, nothing turns off a customer more than a meal arriving late than the rest of the meals. Make sure that meals that take longer to prepare are given topmost priority.
